Man Up Magazine has a two fold message, in that it gives our African American men and teenage boys the opportunity to express themselves on every level. Our men and teenage boys need encouragement, to know that they are loved by God. Our black men are needed in our community, and in our homes. Our African American men have been silent about their feelings, their views, their relationships with women and with their children.

Man Up Magazine is a forum for men to express their views without being judge for how they feel. Our men are taught to bottle up their feelings or to just suck it up, our responsibility here at Man Up Magazine is to encourage our men to come out of the darkness and into the light. To embrace their ideas, their dreams, and through Christ all things are possible despite their past failures or mistakes. Man Up Magazine will be on the cutting edge in that we will discuss forbidden topics such as sex, money, power, drugs, taking the back seat, etc.

You are the Head and Not the Tail
We will inspire our men to become the leaders that they were called to be. To know that God has called you to be the head and not the tail, to be above and not beneath! To begin to believe in their ability to achieve, to overcome, and to become the man that God has called him to be.
